Ever yearned to taste those old fashioned sweets from your childhood days? Remember all those wonderful flavors and colours, all those brilliant names that you just don't seem to get nowadays - Sweet Tobacco, Uncle Joe's Mint Balls, Bluebird Liquorice Toffee, Anglo Bubble Gum, the Original Mint Rock and Flying Saucers to name just a few.
They were just fantastic and still are - and now you can satisfy your craving for a little sweet-toothed nostalgia care of our family-run Internet business sweetsandrock.com.
This all began after a weekend trip to Whitby, Yorkshire, England. We stumbled across a tiny sweet shop selling old traditional confectionery. Immediately we were propelled back to our school days. We left the shop, coat pockets overflowing with our old favourites. On returning home we contacted the manufacturer and started buying in large consignments for our own consumption. Then as the internet became more widely used we decided that these sweets were well worthy of a larger audience.
We've have since trawled the length and breadth of the country to bring you all these childhood favourites that taste just as good as ever. Our suppliers use only original recipes to make sure you won't be disappointed.
We have also had many enquiries from people living abroad, we have decided to offer a service, not just in the UK, but also to expatriates throughout the world who share the same happy memories as we do of old-fashioned-sweets.
Any comments you have about the site or the products are most welcome. We are committed to providing you with a secure online experience accompanied by excellent Customer Service. We do not receive any credit card information ourselves - only a confirmation that the transaction has been authorised.

Nut Allergy Information:
All of the confectionary supplied on the sweetsandrock.com Website are manufactured in factories which use nuts. Therefore we cannot guarantee that any of our products are free of nuts or traces of nut.

Ingredients:
Please be aware that the ingredients of our sweets may include artificial flavourings and colourings. We are not always able to confirm whether or not an individual sweet contains Gelatine. The Manufacturers list of ingredients is available and noted under the photograph of each sweet description.

Returns Policy:
If you are not totally satisfied with the quality of the products, please return them, within 7 days of receipt, to: Sweets and Rock Ltd, 110 Hales Road, Cheltenham, Glos. GL52 6SU. Please enclose your contact details, any reference labels associated with the product and details of the problem.

Shipping:
Customers in the UK (Mainland Only)
The sweets will be sent as soon as possible, generally 3-4 working days.
For all orders less than 1500 grams - we use the services of Royal Mail in order to keep the cost down, as follows:

Courier (Interlink Express) |
For all orders more than 1500 grams - we use the services of Interlink express. Interlink express require a signature to ensure the safe delivery of your goods. If you wish your goods to be left in a safe place e.g. with a neighbour, please indicate this in the special delivery instruction box. If there is no one in to accept delivery they will leave a card, for you to arrange a convenient time in normal business hours. After two unsuccessful attempts of delivery, Interlink Express will hold the parcel at a local depot for you to collect at your convenience.
The shipping costs are automatically added to the order during the checkout process and are clearly displayed before you confirm the order and make payment.

Customers Overseas:
This is not a dilemma. We will deliver all your favorite traditional sweets to wherever you live! - Europe 5-6 working days and world wide 7-8 working days.
You will not be charged for packaging. We only charge you the courier cost.
After careful consideration we have chosen TNT as our overseas courier. TNT International is a World leader in Global time-sensitive delivery solutions. With over 161,000 staff worldwide (no sub-contractors are employed by TNT) and a fully integrated Air and Road network, they have the resources and infrastructure to meet your every need in International delivery.
The shopping basket will work out everything for you - From UK VAT (where applicable), to the shipping charges.

Up to 5 Kilos - £22.93 inc. VAT - Add £0.67p per Kilo thereafter.
