Anglo Bubbly Bubble Gum: the original bassetts pear flavour bubble gum. A favourite in the 60's and 70's - soft and chewy and fantastic for blowing bubbles.
This gum may contain traces of nut.
We are not sure whether this gum contains gelatine.
History:
Barrats were taken over by Bassetts in 1966 by which time they were the largest sugar confectionery manufacturers in Britain employing 1300 people.
Established in London in1848 Barrat's became the leaders in the children's "own purchase" market, making an extensive range of 1d (penny) sweets including such perennial favourites as Sherbet Fountains and Black Jacks and Fruit Salads.
In 1999 Trebor Bassett created Monkhill Confectionery , a seperate company, to look after traditional brands like Barrat.
